ABout me
Hi there! I’m Sam Grobmeier, a New York City based artist born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois (though don’t tell my parents I don’t like deep dish pizza)! I am an actress, musician, producer, voiceover artist, and advocate.
My goal as an artist is to merge my advocacy and my art through bringing important, untold stories to the stage and screen. I believe that art has immense power to create real change. My passions for mental health and disability awareness, organ donation education, and the empowerment of women in the arts & the world play a big part in my work.
A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, I studied both musical theatre and on-screen acting / production while minoring in producing. One of my proudest achievements, though, is co-founding The Maddog Strong Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity organization that promotes awareness and education for organ and tissue donation registry among teens and their families. The foundation was founded in honor of my younger sister who passed away in2019.
When I’m not creating art, I love playing my 5 instruments, trying as many dessert spots in the city as I can, Facetiming my basset hound back home in Illinois, and trying to catch a nap every now and then in between!
Thanks for stopping by!
-Sam
