About

ABout me

Hi there! I’m Sam Grobmeier (she/her), a New York City based multi-hyphenate artist with a goal to merge my advocacy and creativity together by bringing important, untold stories to the stage and screen.

I feel so lucky to call both on and off the stage & screen my home – working ‘on’ as an actor, musician, & voiceover artist and ‘off’ as a producer and director. My passions for organ donation education, mental health & disability awareness, and women’s rights play a big part in my work. With an array of experience in the theater and documentary film worlds as well as a deep belief that art can create real change, I am currently working towards diving into the verbatim documentary theater field.

I’m proud to hold a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in Drama with a minor in producing and an MBA from Saint Xavier University Chicago. When I’m not creating art, you can find me playing my 5 instruments, trying as many new ice cream spots in the city as I can, Facetiming my basset hound Mac back home with my parents in the suburbs of Chicago, and trying to catch a nap every now and then in between!

Thanks for stopping by!
